Today I had to think about traditions.
This weekend is the easter-weekend - there exist an old tradition in Austria on this weekend.
Due to the reason that the bells of the churches don't ring from holy Thursday until the Easter Sunday in many towns and villages of Austria a group of children walk through the streets and make some sound with their "Ratschen" (some special instruments made out of wood).
Especially in my hometown this tradition is really old and is a special event for the children.
I like it to remember the times when I was a boy and was part of this tradition.
Now - everytime I hear the sound of the "Ratschen" I know the springtime and Easter is near.
In such a fast moving world it is good to have some old and consistent traditions.
